ABS
ABS plastic is an opaque, thermoplastic and amorphous polymer, produced by recycling other plastics or by recycling itself. Thermoplastics liquefy, which allows them to be easily injection molded. ABS is also a plastic that has a strong resistance to chemical corrosives and physical impacts, and is very easy to machine at a low melting temperature, thus saving energy. |
Cotton
Organic cotton
Organic cotton is a biodegradable natural resource that optimizes all the resources needed for its production, from a crop in which the land is rotated and the crops are diversified, thus protecting the ecosystems of the area and fertilizing the land for future crops, until the end of production. Throughout the process, it is possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 46% , waste accumulation by 26%, irrigation water by 91% and primary energy consumption by 62% compared to conventional cotton. |
Recycled Cotton
Recycled cotton is the conversion of cotton fabric into fibres that can be used in new textile products. There are two sources: pre-consumer : yarn scraps and discarded fabric in the industrial cutting and sewing process and post-consumer : from garments used by the consumer. Recycled cotton is the most ecological of all, since it does not have to go through all the processes of cultivation , handling , etc., to reach the final product. Example: 1 kilo of recycled cotton can save between 10,000 and 15,000 litres of water. It is biodegradable . |
